Real-Phant provides a cost-effective and accessible alternative to cadaver-based training and expensive anatomical models. Its realistic design allows repeated hands-on practice, helping institutions enhance medical training while reducing costs associated with traditional training resources.

Aortic dissection is a life-threatening condition with a rising incidence, where early and accurate diagnosis is critical to reducing mortality. However, healthcare practitioners often have limited access to realistic hands-on training tools for recognising and differentiating between normal aortic anatomy and pathological conditions during ultrasound examinations.

Real-Phant is a realistic, 3D-printed vascular phantom that mimics both heavy & aortic dissection (AD) anatomy for Point-Of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training, addressing the lack of hands-on-training in diagnosing AD

Real-Phant introduces a realistic, 3D-printed vascular phantom that replicates both healthy aortic anatomy and aortic dissection conditions for Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training. This enables healthcare practitioners to practise and improve diagnostic skills in a controlled and realistic simulation environment.
