This Privacy Notice explains how MRANTI Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (“MRANTI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and manages personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) and other applicable data protection laws (“Privacy Laws”).

By providing your personal data to MRANTI, using our websites, or participating in our programmes, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice.


1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 “Personal Data” has the meaning ascribed to it under the PDPA and includes any information that relates directly or indirectly to an identified or identifiable individual.

1.2 “Data Subject” means an individual who is the subject of the Personal Data processed by MRANTI.

1.3 “Programmes” means any programmes, events, discussions, campaigns, initiatives and/or features made available or organised by MRANTI, whether now or in the future.

1.4 “Website” means the MRANTI website accessible at (https://www.mranti.my/) and any related online platforms operated by MRANTI.

1.5 “Affiliates” means MRANTI’s partners, agents, service providers and contractors, and any entity controlled by, under common control with, or controlling MRANTI.


2. SCOPE

2.1 This Privacy Notice applies to all Personal Data processed by MRANTI in connection with:
(a) the use of the Website;
(b) participation in or interaction with any Programmes;
(c) any services, facilities, spaces or initiatives provided or operated by MRANTI; and
(d) any business, contractual or other dealings with MRANTI.

2.2 This Privacy Notice applies to all MRANTI employees, contractors and third-party service providers who have access to Personal Data.

MRANTI is committed to processing Personal Data in accordance with the following principles:
(a) Notice and Transparency – informing Data Subjects when and why Personal Data is collected and processed;

(c) Purpose Limitation – processing Personal Data only for legitimate and specified purposes;
(d) Data Minimisation and Accuracy – collecting only relevant data and taking reasonable steps to keep it accurate and up to date;

(f) Retention Limitation – retaining Personal Data only as long as necessary or required by law; and

4.1 Depending on the nature of your relationship with MRANTI and your interactions with us, the categories of Personal Data that we may collect include, but are not limited to:
(a) Identification details (for example, name, NRIC or passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender);
(b) Contact details (for example, postal address, email address, telephone number, social media account details);
(c) Demographic information (for example, race, marital status, language preferences);
(d) Employment and professional information (for example, employer, job title, employment history, professional qualifications);
(e) Education details (for example, academic history, certifications);
(f) Financial information (for example, bank account details, payment information, where relevant);
(g) Participation information (for example, records of participation in Programmes, events, applications, surveys and feedback);
(h) Technical and usage data (for example, IP address, device information, browser type, access logs, cookies data);
(i) Visual and audio data (for example, photographs, video recordings, CCTV footage from events or premises); and
(j) Sensitive Personal Data, where necessary and permitted by law (for example, health information, criminal records, religious or political affiliations, or membership of organisations), subject to additional safeguards and consent where required.

4.2 You may also provide MRANTI with Personal Data relating to other individuals (for example, family members, colleagues). In such cases, you are responsible for ensuring that such individuals have been informed of this Privacy Notice and that you have the authority and/or their consent (where required) to provide their Personal Data to MRANTI.


5. SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1 MRANTI may collect Personal Data directly from you through, among others:
(a) registration or creation of accounts on the Website or other platforms;
(b) submission of forms, applications, surveys or feedback (including online forms);
(c) registration, application or participation in any Programmes, events or initiatives;
(d) communication with MRANTI via email, telephone, messaging platforms, social media, letters or in person;
(e) entering MRANTI’s premises or using MRANTI’s facilities and spaces; and
(f) execution of contracts or other arrangements with MRANTI.

5.2 MRANTI may also collect Personal Data from third parties, including:
(a) publicly available sources and directories;
(b) government agencies, regulators or statutory bodies;
(c) credit reference agencies or similar organisations;
(d) MRANTI’s Affiliates, partners, sponsors and service providers;
(e) your employer, colleagues or other individuals connected to you; and
(f) third-party platforms or services that you use to interact with MRANTI or its Programmes, subject to their applicable privacy policies.Where required by Privacy Laws, MRANTI will notify you of such collection and the purposes thereof within the prescribed time period.


6. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED THROUGH THE WEBSITE

7. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

7.1 MRANTI may process your Personal Data for one or more of the following purposes:
(a) Provision of Services and Programmes
(i) to administer, manage and operate the Programmes, events and initiatives;
(ii) to process registrations, applications, participation and attendance;
(iii) to provide you with information, products or services requested by you.
(b) Communication
(i) to communicate with you regarding your participation, enquiries, requests or feedback;
(ii) to send administrative information, notices and updates;
(iii) to send you marketing or promotional materials related to MRANTI and/or its Affiliates, where permitted by law and subject to your consent where required.
(c) Assessment and Due Diligence
(i) to evaluate applications, proposals, collaborations, partnerships or funding;
(ii) to conduct risk assessments, credit checks or background checks where appropriate.
(d) Research, Analytics and Improvement
(i) to conduct research, surveys and statistical analysis;
(ii) to improve the Website, Programmes, services, facilities and user experience;
(iii) to generate anonymised or aggregated data and reports.
(e) Compliance, Security and Legal Purposes
(i) to manage and ensure the security of MRANTI’s premises, systems and data;
(ii) to detect, prevent or investigate fraud, misconduct or breaches;

7.2 Where required by law, MRANTI will obtain your consent before processing your Personal Data for certain purposes, such as direct marketing or processing of specific categories of sensitive data.


8. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

8.1 Subject to any applicable laws and for the purposes set out in Section 7, MRANTI may disclose your Personal Data to the following categories of recipients:
(a) MRANTI’s Affiliates, partners, sponsors, collaboration and business partners;
(b) event co-organisers, programme facilitators and host institutions;
(c) service providers and vendors (including IT and system providers, payment processors, auditors, consultants, lawyers, marketing agencies and professional advisors);
(d) educational institutions, investors or potential partners, where relevant to a Programme or initiative involving you;
(e) government agencies, regulators, statutory bodies or law enforcement authorities, where required or authorised by law;
(f) any party to whom you have authorised MRANTI to disclose your Personal Data; and
(g) any other party where such disclosure is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8.2 Your Personal Data may be transferred to locations outside Malaysia. When transferring Personal Data outside Malaysia, MRANTI will comply with its obligations under applicable Privacy Laws, including implementing appropriate safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection and requiring the recipient to protect the Personal Data in accordance with applicable standards.


9. SECURITY AND MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

9.1 MRANTI implements reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage. These measures may include, among others:
(a) access controls and role-based permissions;
(b) physical security controls for premises and equipment;
(c) use of encryption and secure communication protocols where appropriate;
(d) system monitoring, backups and incident response procedures; and
(e) internal policies, procedures and training for employees and relevant personnel.

9.2 While MRANTI endeavours to take all reasonable steps to protect Personal Data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. MRANTI is not responsible for any unauthorised use of Personal Data attributable to factors beyond its reasonable control.


10. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

10.1 MRANTI will retain Personal Data for as long as:
(a) it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected;
(b) MRANTI has a legitimate business need in relation to the Personal Data;
(c) it is required to comply with legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting obligations; or
(d) it is necessary to protect MRANTI’s rights or defend against claims.

10.2 When Personal Data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected and there is no legal or business purpose to retain it, MRANTI will take reasonable steps to erase, destroy, anonymise or otherwise render the Personal Data unusable or inaccessible, in accordance with applicable laws.


11. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

11.1 Subject to applicable laws and any exemptions, you may have the following rights in respect of your Personal Data:
(a) Right of Access – to request access to and a copy of your Personal Data held by MRANTI;
(b) Right to Correction – to request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data;
(c) Right to Deletion – to request the deletion or anonymisation of your Personal Data, where permitted by law;
(d) Right to Restriction – to request that MRANTI limits the processing of your Personal Data to certain purposes or in certain ways;
(e) Right to Data Portability – to request a copy of your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and/or request that MRANTI transmits such data to another data user, where technically feasible and permitted by law; and
(f) Right to Withdraw Consent – where processing is based on consent, to withdraw such consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal, but may affect MRANTI’s ability to continue providing certain services or access to Programmes.

11.2 Requests to exercise the rights set out above shall be made in writing to MRANTI using the contact details in Section 13. MRANTI may require additional information to verify your identity and may charge a fee for processing access requests, where allowed by law.


12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

12.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not controlled or operated by MRANTI. This may be necessary in connection with your participation in certain Programmes.

12.2 MRANTI is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security or policies of such third-party websites or services. You are advised to review the applicable privacy policies of those websites or services to understand how your information may be handled by them.

14. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

14.1 MRANTI may review and update this Privacy Notice from time to time. MRANTI reserves the right to amend the terms of this Privacy Notice at its absolute discretion.

14.2 MRANTI may inform you of material amendments via email, post, short message service or other means of communication, and/or by publishing an updated version on the Website. You are encouraged to review this Privacy Notice periodically to stay informed of any changes.

14.3 Your continued use of the Website, participation in the Programmes or engagement with MRANTI after any amendments to this Privacy Notice shall constitute your acceptance of such amendments.

Notis Privasi ini menerangkan bagaimana MRANTI Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (“MRANTI”, “kami”, “kita” atau “milik kami”) mengumpul, menggunakan, mendedahkan dan mengurus data peribadi selaras dengan Akta Perlindungan Data Peribadi 2010 (“PDPA”) dan undang-undang perlindungan data lain yang berkuat kuasa (“Undang-undang Privasi”).

Dengan memberikan data peribadi anda kepada MRANTI, menggunakan laman web kami, atau menyertai program-program kami, anda mengakui bahawa anda telah membaca dan memahami Notis Privasi ini.

1. TAKRIFAN

1.1 “Data Peribadi” mempunyai maksud seperti yang diperuntukkan di bawah PDPA dan merangkumi apa-apa maklumat yang berkaitan secara langsung atau tidak langsung dengan individu yang dikenal pasti atau boleh dikenal pasti.

1.2 “Subjek Data” bermaksud individu yang menjadi subjek kepada Data Peribadi yang diproses oleh MRANTI.

1.3 “Program” bermaksud sebarang program, acara, perbincangan, kempen, inisiatif dan/atau ciri yang disediakan atau dianjurkan oleh MRANTI, sama ada pada masa kini atau akan datang.

1.4 “Laman Web” bermaksud laman web MRANTI yang boleh diakses di (https://www.mranti.my/) serta mana-mana platform dalam talian berkaitan yang dikendalikan oleh MRANTI.

1.5 “Afiliasi” bermaksud rakan kongsi, ejen, penyedia perkhidmatan dan kontraktor MRANTI, serta mana-mana entiti yang dikawal oleh, berada di bawah kawalan bersama dengan, atau mengawal MRANTI.


2. SKOP

2.1 Notis Privasi ini terpakai kepada semua Data Peribadi yang diproses oleh MRANTI berkaitan dengan:
(a) Penggunaan Laman Web;
(b) Penyertaan atau interaksi dalam mana-mana Program;
(c) Sebarang perkhidmatan, kemudahan, ruang atau inisiatif yang disediakan atau dikendalikan oleh MRANTI; dan
(d) Sebarang urusan perniagaan, kontrak atau lain-lain dengan MRANTI.

2.2 Notis Privasi ini terpakai kepada semua pekerja MRANTI, kontraktor dan penyedia perkhidmatan pihak ketiga yang mempunyai akses kepada Data Peribadi.


3. PRINSIP PRIVASI

3.1 MRANTI komited untuk memproses Data Peribadi selaras dengan prinsip berikut:
(a) Notis dan Ketelusan – memaklumkan Subjek Data bila dan mengapa Data Peribadi dikumpul dan diproses;
(b) Pilihan dan Persetujuan – mendapatkan persetujuan apabila dikehendaki oleh undang-undang;
(c)Had Tujuan – memproses Data Peribadi hanya untuk tujuan yang sah dan dinyatakan;
(d) Pengurangan dan Ketepatan Data – mengumpul hanya data yang relevan serta mengambil langkah munasabah untuk memastikan ketepatan dan kemas kini;
(e) Keselamatan dan Kerahsiaan – melaksanakan langkah keselamatan yang sesuai untuk melindungi Data Peribadi;
(f) Had Penyimpanan – menyimpan Data Peribadi hanya selama perlu atau seperti yang dikehendaki oleh undang-undang; dan
(g) Akses dan Pembetulan – memudahkan hak Subjek Data berkaitan Data Peribadi mereka selaras dengan undang-undang yang berkenaan.


4. JENIS DATA PERIBADI YANG DIKUMPUL

4.1 Bergantung kepada sifat hubungan anda dengan MRANTI, Data Peribadi yang mungkin dikumpul termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada:
(a) Maklumat pengenalan (contohnya nama, nombor MyKad atau pasport, kewarganegaraan, tarikh lahir, jantina);
(b) Maklumat perhubungan (contohnya alamat, e-mel, nombor telefon, akaun media sosial);
(c) Maklumat demografi (contohnya bangsa, status perkahwinan, bahasa);
(d) Maklumat pekerjaan dan profesional;
(e) Maklumat pendidikan;
(f) Maklumat kewangan (jika berkaitan);
(g) Maklumat penyertaan dalam Program;
(h) Data teknikal dan penggunaan;
(i) Data visual dan audio; dan
(j) Data Peribadi Sensitif (contohnya maklumat kesihatan, rekod jenayah, kepercayaan agama atau politik), tertakluk kepada perlindungan tambahan dan persetujuan yang diperlukan.

4.2 Anda juga mungkin memberikan Data Peribadi individu lain kepada MRANTI (sebagai contoh, ahli keluarga atau rakan sekerja). Dalam kes sedemikian, anda bertanggungjawab untuk memastikan individu tersebut telah dimaklumkan mengenai Notis Privasi ini dan anda mempunyai kuasa dan/atau keizinan mereka (sekiranya diperlukan) untuk memberikan Data Peribadi mereka kepada MRANTI.


5. SUMBER DATA PERIBADI

5.1 MRANTI boleh mengumpul Data Peribadi secara langsung daripada anda melalui pendaftaran, borang, penyertaan program, komunikasi, penggunaan kemudahan atau pelaksanaan kontrak.

5.2 MRANTI juga boleh mengumpul Data Peribadi daripada pihak ketiga seperti sumber awam, agensi kerajaan, rakan kongsi, majikan anda, atau platform pihak ketiga tertakluk kepada polisi privasi mereka.


6. DATA PERIBADI MELALUI LAMAN WEB

6.1 Apabila anda mengakses Laman Web, MRANTI mungkin mengumpul maklumat teknikal seperti alamat IP, jenis peranti, pelayar, halaman dilawati, dan data kuki (cookies).

6.2 Anda boleh melaraskan tetapan pelayar untuk mengurus kuki, namun sesetengah fungsi Laman Web mungkin terjejas.


7. TUJUAN PEMPROSESAN DATA PERIBADI

7.1 MRANTI boleh memproses Data Peribadi untuk:
(a) Pentadbiran dan pengurusan Program;
(b) Komunikasi dan penyampaian maklumat;
(c) Penilaian dan usaha wajar;
(d) Penyelidikan, analitik dan penambahbaikan;
(e) Pematuhan undang-undang dan keselamatan; dan
(f) Tujuan operasi dan pentadbiran dalaman.

7.2 Sekiranya dikehendaki oleh undang-undang, MRANTI akan mendapatkan keizinan anda sebelum memproses Data Peribadi anda untuk tujuan tertentu, seperti pemasaran langsung atau pemprosesan kategori data sensitif yang khusus.


8. PENDEDAHAN DATA PERIBADI

8.1 MRANTI boleh mendedahkan Data Peribadi kepada Afiliasi, rakan kongsi, penyedia perkhidmatan, institusi pendidikan, agensi kerajaan atau pihak lain yang dibenarkan oleh undang-undang.

8.2 Data Peribadi mungkin dipindahkan ke luar Malaysia dengan perlindungan yang sewajarnya selaras dengan Undang-undang Privasi.


9. KESELAMATAN DATA

9.1 MRANTI melaksanakan langkah teknikal dan organisasi yang munasabah untuk melindungi Data Peribadi termasuk kawalan akses, keselamatan fizikal, penyulitan, pemantauan sistem dan latihan dalaman.

9.2 Walau bagaimanapun, tiada kaedah penghantaran atau penyimpanan yang 100% selamat.


10. PENYIMPANAN DATA

10.1 Data Peribadi akan disimpan selagi perlu untuk tujuan pengumpulan, pematuhan undang-undang atau perlindungan hak MRANTI. Apabila tidak lagi diperlukan, data akan dipadam, dimusnahkan atau dinyahnamakan selaras dengan undang-undang.


11. HAK SUBJEK DATA

11.1 Anda berhak untuk:
(a) Mengakses Data Peribadi anda;
(b) Memohon pembetulan;
(c) Memohon pemadaman (tertakluk kepada undang-undang);
(d) Mengehadkan pemprosesan;
(e) Memohon Kebolehalihan data; dan
(f) Menarik balik persetujuan.

11.2 Permintaan untuk melaksanakan hak-hak yang dinyatakan di atas hendaklah dibuat secara bertulis kepada MRANTI menggunakan butiran hubungan dalam Seksyen 13. MRANTI mungkin memerlukan maklumat tambahan untuk mengesahkan identiti anda dan mungkin mengenakan bayaran untuk memproses permintaan akses, sekiranya dibenarkan oleh undang-undang.


12. LAMAN WEB PIHAK KETIGA

12.1 MRANTI tidak bertanggungjawab terhadap amalan privasi laman web pihak ketiga yang di pautkan melalui Laman Web.

12.2 MRANTI tidak bertanggungjawab terhadap amalan privasi, kandungan, keselamatan atau polisi laman web atau perkhidmatan pihak ketiga tersebut. Anda dinasihatkan untuk menyemak polisi privasi laman web atau perkhidmatan tersebut yang terpakai untuk memahami bagaimana maklumat anda mungkin dikendalikan oleh mereka.

14. KEMAS KINI NOTIS

14.1 MRANTI berhak untuk mengemas kini Notis Privasi ini dari semasa ke semasa. Penggunaan berterusan anda selepas pindaan dibuat dianggap sebagai penerimaan terhadap pindaan tersebut.


15. PENGAKUAN

15.1 Dengan memberikan Data Peribadi kepada MRANTI, menggunakan Laman Web atau menyertai Program:
(a) Anda mengakui telah membaca dan memahami Notis Privasi ini; dan
(b) Anda memberi persetujuan (jika diperlukan oleh undang-undang) kepada pengumpulan, penggunaan dan pemprosesan Data Peribadi selaras dengan Notis Privasi ini.
