It also reduce the cost of operating pre-reaming or upsizing hole processes, shorten the process time, while being compatible for surface or pit launch & is quick & easy to set-up

In order to gradually expand the range of HDD technology applications, its operations are restricyed by pipeline diameter. drilling equipment push force & geological conditions

The project introduces a Pipe Thruster system that provides additional push force of up to 10 tonnes during the pullback process, improving the efficiency and feasibility of HDD pipeline installation in difficult conditions.

UTM’s Pipe Thruster introduces an advanced mechanical support system for Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) that provides additional push force of up to 10 tonnes during the pullback of long pipeline strings. This innovation enhances drilling capability beyond the limitations of conventional HDD equipment, enabling more efficient pipeline installation beneath obstacles while reducing operational time, risk, and costs compared to traditional tunnelling and pipeline construction methods.
