Existing carbon nanotube products are often expensive to produce and limited to international suppliers. There is a lack of local, low-cost production methods in Malaysia, limiting access for domestic industries.
MWCNT-30 is synthesized using a method that enables high-yield production (approx. 1.6 kg/day) with low energy consumption. This process improves efficiency by up to 50% when optimized, allowing the nanotubes to be applied in coatings, energy storage, and composite materials.
MWCNT-30 is an innovative, cost-effective method for producing 30nm multi-walled carbon nanotubes through a locally developed, high-yield, and energy-efficient process. Unlike traditional methods that rely on expensive international suppliers, MWCNT-30 enables local production at approximately 1.6 kg per day with up to 50% improved energy efficiency. This makes it more accessible and affordable for Malaysian industries, while maintaining high-performance properties suitable for use in coatings, energy storage, and composite materials.
