GentleGel is able to be produced at a lower cost, making it affordable compared to its competitor. Its transparency allows for ease of monitoring & is easily replaced.

Synthetic-based hydrogel might be toxic due to the use of chemical additives & residues from the production process. Some skin patches do not provide moisture & are difficult to remove. There is also an increase in awareness of the uses of bioproducts as an eco-friendly approach

GentleGel provides a biodegradable hydrogel skin patch made from agricultural residues, specifically pineapple leaf fibres (PALF) and Orthosiphon aristatus stem fibre (OASF). The patch offers high moisture retention, skin-friendly properties, easy and painless removal, and potential drug delivery functionality while remaining cost-effective and transparent for easy monitoring.

GentleGel introduces a biodegradable hydrogel skin patch derived from agricultural residues, specifically pineapple leaf fibres (PALF) and Orthosiphon aristatus stem fibre (OASF).
