FuelX CaZeo: Revolutionizing The Future of Ecofuel Production

The project is low cost, high performance & quick response. Using the catalyst enable effective catalyst recovery in the transesterification reaction of used cooking oil to produce biodiesel.
Conventional catalysts used in biodiesel production can be costly, difficult to recover after reactions, and may involve environmentally harmful chemicals. These limitations reduce process efficiency and increase production costs, creating a need for a more sustainable and economically viable catalyst for biodiesel production.
FuelX CaZeo introduces a magnetic acid–base catalyst synthesised from waste materials such as chicken eggshells and rice husks. The catalyst enables efficient transesterification of used cooking oil into biodiesel while allowing easy magnetic recovery and reuse, improving process efficiency and reducing waste.
The innovation lies in transforming agricultural waste into a high-performance magnetic catalyst that combines acid–base functionality with magnetic recovery capability. This green catalyst offers a low-cost, environmentally friendly alternative to conventional homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts while maintaining strong catalytic performance in biodiesel production.
