Euginol Gel demonstrates strong preclinical performance, achieving approximately 65% wound closure by Day 7 and 90% closure by Day 14 in diabetic wound models, outperforming standard gel and control treatments. Histological evaluation showed enhanced wound recovery through faster re-epithelialisation, approximately 30% higher collagen formation, increased capillary density, and reduced inflammatory infiltration. Its skin-friendly pH range (5–7), clear and non-greasy texture, and compatibility with standard dressings provide practical advantages for both clinical and home-based wound care applications. The combination of natural bioactive ingredients, multi-mechanistic healing action, and demonstrated regenerative potential positions Euginol Gel as a promising next-generation solution for chronic diabetic wound management.

Chronic wounds, especially diabetic foot ulcers, remain a major healthcare challenge due to prolonged inflammation, increased susceptibility to infection, and impaired tissue regeneration that delays natural healing. Current wound care approaches often rely on antibiotic or silver-based treatments, which may contribute to antimicrobial resistance concerns and may not fully address the underlying biological factors that prevent effective wound closure. Therefore, there is a need for an advanced wound healing solution that can simultaneously regulate inflammation, protect against infection, and stimulate tissue regeneration to improve recovery outcomes.

Euginol Gel addresses these challenges through a synergistic combination of natural bioactive compounds within a skin-friendly hydrogel platform. Quercetin provides antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pro-repair effects, while eugenol contributes antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties to help maintain a clean healing environment. The hydrogel formulation, with a pH range of 5–7, creates a moist wound environment that supports tissue regeneration, while remaining clear, non-greasy, easy to apply, and compatible with standard wound dressings. The product is designed for use in chronic diabetic foot ulcers following debridement, between clinic visits to maintain a protected healing environment, and for post-procedure diabetic foot wounds requiring controlled inflammation and recovery support.

Euginol Gel introduces a novel triple-action wound healing approach by integrating quercetin and eugenol into a hydrogel delivery system to simultaneously address inflammation control, antimicrobial protection, and tissue regeneration. Unlike conventional wound care products that primarily focus on infection management or maintaining moisture balance, Euginol Gel targets the biological mechanisms responsible for delayed healing, including persistent inflammation and impaired repair responses in aged or senescent-prone tissues. The antibiotic-free and silver-free formulation provides a natural alternative for chronic wound management while supporting the restoration of normal healing processes.
