MRANTI Appoints Dr Hasnita Datuk Hashim To Board Of Directors

MRANTI has appointed Dr Hasnita Datuk Hashim as a Board of Directors member, bringing her extensive expertise in Islamic finance and sustainable innovation.

As Chairman of Maybank Asset Management, she spearheaded Malaysia’s first ESG funds with Schroeder and structured the first cross-border Islamic sukuk. Her work in transition financing has attracted billions in investments from the Gulf and Southeast Asia.

MRANTI Chairman Prof Dr Rofina Yasmin Othman said, “Dr. Hasnita’s appointment is a testament to MRANTI’s commitment to driving meaningful change. Her ability to innovate within the framework of sustainability and Islamic finance will be critical as we work to commercialise technologies that align with global best practices.”

Dr Hasnita, also Pro-Chancellor of UniKL, has played a key role in strengthening Malaysia’s education system, aligning with MRANTI’s goal of fostering innovation and talent development.
