Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone was proven to improve agriculture tasks such as manuring, chemical application, and many more. It works effectively if it could fly without signal disruption such as blockage from trees and different topographies. Thus, it is not utilised for matured palm area. However, drone application imatured palm area should be further explored as it could provide greater advantage for monitoring and harvesting.
Current situation:- Drones are commonly used for oil palm nursery application.
