Cuplump modified bitumen (CMB) is a road paving composite compound made from natural rubber and bitumen. CMB is created by combining Bituminous Cuplump (BC), a chemical created using an internal mixing process of natural rubber, bitumen, and active additives in a certain ratio. The CMB composite compound includes 5% natural rubber as an active element to increase bitumen performance. According to laboratory and field experiments, the application of CMB can solve the problem of cracks and grooves while also increasing the lifespan of the road and lowering maintenance expenses. Cuplump Modified Asphalt (CMA) is created by combining CMB with aggregate in accordance with JKR Specification Section 4 (SPJ 2008). CMA is a road pavement (worn course) material having a thickness of 50 mm.
