This role plays a key role in driving innovation at MRANTI. This role demands a keen understanding of intellectual property (IP) law and a commitment to safeguarding innovation. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing intellectual property (IP) policies for the Department. You will analyse IP laws, develop policies and advise stakeholders, ensuring the department protects its creations and fosters a culture of IP awareness.

The purpose of this position is to initiate business engagement and revenue stream to the organisation. The initiatives are based on MRANTI technology focus areas by leveraging on internal expertise, in-house facilities, strategic partnership with academia, RIs, government body, industry players and SMEs. This role plays a key role in driving innovation at MRANTI. You will be responsible for the entire technology commercialisation process, from scouting and evaluation to venture building and stakeholder management. Your primary responsibilities include: Scouting cutting-edge technologies, evaluating and prioritising opportunities, managing projects from start to finish, venture building support and stakeholder relationship management. This position requires an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses a passion for innovation and commercialisation.
