The Malaysian agriculture sector faces many challenges due to a shortage of labour, resulting in poor operation performance and low production rate. MERAQUE has successfully developed a solution called ROBOTIC AGRO in COMPLEX ENVIRONMENT (RACE), which is the first hybrid-powered Autonomous Ground Vehicle (AGV) designed for precision agriculture and robotic automation. RACE was created through extensive research and development (R&D) through incorporating hardware and software components. It features advanced technologies such as 3D LiDAR detection, built-in LoRa connectivity, and high-precision navigation with RTK. With its Omni Directional smart spraying system and the ability to operate multiple units simultaneously, RACE can move autonomously and is monitored through a sophisticated web and mobile-based fleet software.
