(Shah Alam, 30th) The 5th Selangor Accelerator Programme (5th Cohort) attracted 225 competitive companies to sign up, and now 30 start-ups have successfully advanced and have the opportunity to participate in the next 3 month of intensive training courses.
In his welcome speech at a press conference held today, Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency CEO Yang Kai Bin said that 225 start-ups have signed up this year, 36.4% more than last year's 165, which proves that more and more Many start-ups respond to SAP's slogan "Charge Your Startup, Take it Further" (Charge Your Startup, Take it Further).

"The top 30 companies have the opportunity to receive US$5,000 (approximately RM22,027) in AWS credits for cloud computing networks, a six-month free co-working space at SDCC, and opportunities to collaborate with industry players," he said.

In his speech, he pointed out that these successful companies will participate in the accelerator program organized by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) for the next 10 weeks.
The 5th Selangor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program is open for registration from May 10 this year until June 13.
Since 2018, the Selangor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program has nurtured 120 new start-ups, of which about 34% of SAP graduates have successfully raised funds and improved their performance.
The theme of this year’s edition is “Net Zero, Sustainability and Circular Economy”, focusing on five vertical areas, namely, agricultural technology, green technology, smart city, financial technology, and health technology.
This year's SAP will have 14 workshops, 3 briefing clinics, 5 office hours mentoring sessions, 1 closed-door semi-final, and a Demo Day on September 10 this year.
