(Shah Alam, 30th) The 5th Selangor Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program (SAP) attracted 225 competitive companies to sign up. Now 30 startups have stood out and successfully advanced to participate in the intensive training course for the next three months.
The top 30 companies will be participating in the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (Sidec) for the next 10 weeks as Selangor Executive Councillor Datuk Deng Zhang Qin delivered the opening remarks for the accelerator program at the Selangor Digital Creative Centre (SDCC) today. This year's SAP theme is "Net Zero, Sustainability and Circular Economy", focusing on five vertical areas, namely agritech, greentech, smart city, fintech and healthtech.
Sidec CEO Yang Kaibin pointed out that 225 new start-ups have actively signed up for SAP, which is 36.4% more than last year's 165, which proves that more and more start-ups are responding to SAP's slogan "New innovations and breakthroughs, go further".
"The top 30 have the opportunity to receive $5,000 worth of AWS cloud computing (AWS) credits, SDCC's 6-month free shared office space, and opportunities to collaborate with industry players."
September 10 Demo Day
This year's SAP will have 14 workshops, 3 briefing clinics, 5 office hours mentoring sessions, 1 closed-door semi-final, and come to Demo Day on September 10.
